I-Ready: An Individualized Reading Program

I-Ready is an individualized reading program designed to support student growth in literacy. Each student takes a diagnostic test four times a school year to measure their progress and identify areas of growth in reading. Teachers set personalized weekly goals to help each student succeed. At the end of the semester, there is also a standardized grade goal to ensure that students are meeting expectations. This approach allows for tailored support to help every student improve their reading skills at their own pace.

 

AR (Accelerated Reader): An Individualized Reading Program

AR (Accelerated Reader) is an individualized reading program that helps students grow in their reading comprehension. Students take a reading comprehension test, which determines their AR reading level. Based on this level, they are provided with a selection of library books that match their abilities, allowing them to choose books that are both engaging and appropriately challenging. This personalized approach helps students develop a love for reading while ensuring they are reading at a level that supports their growth.
